I Live For Him

Luke 6:22-23

The Message (MSG)

22-23“Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don’t like it, I do … and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this.

YOU ARE BLESSED WHEN PEOPLE CRITICIZE YOU FOR YOUR RELIGION.

so many people laugh at me because i love jesus.

i dont know what to do with my life everyone has a plan and i have no idea what im suppose to do i dont know if im suppose to speak for him or what all i know is that im currently in a terrible mess and i really need to clean my act up. i know that i need to appologize to god for everything i’ve done wrong. i need to stop tempting my self and quit putting my self in vulnerable situations. i feel like theirs something pushing me away from God but yet thiers something pulling me back. and this is all for the better. thier so much inspiration and love in Gods presence. i really want to do something for his ministries. its like preparing yourself for what your gonna be doing in heaven. but i dont know where i belong. i just remember that dream where i got in front of a big crowd knowing that i god wanted me to speak to them but i had no idea what to say. i want to be a youth pastors wife. a really attractive youth pastors wife. with a really good heart. i just think its critical for teens to know God because teens are so vulnerable and weak. even if we think were invinsible we all have big egos and are pretty much full of ourselfs. i have a list of things to work on and my ego is one of them. i dont understand what has happend. i still pray for God to show me what to do with my life. after experiencing that terror i have come to realize that i need God in my life now more then ever. i have such an energy and such a heart to spread gods word but i dont know how i can change the minds of other stubborn people.

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness’” (II Corinthians 12:9, NKJ).We all go through seasons of difficulty that can sometimes feel overwhelming. But during these times, we have to remember that Almighty God is greater than the struggle we face! He’ll take those challenges and use them to strengthen us, but we have to do our part and get into agreement with Him.
Think about the caterpillar before it becomes a butterfly. When it’s wrapped in its cocoon in the dark on the backside of some tree, it doesn’t look like it has many options. But after it becomes a butterfly, it doesn’t just sit waiting for someone to come and drill a hole and let it out. No! That butterfly knows that it has to make a move if it’s going to be set free to fly. In the same way, we have to do something to get out of the confining places we are in. We have to pray, we have to believe, and keep pressing through to victory.
Today, no matter what you may be facing, remember His grace is sufficient for you. His strength is made perfect in you. Keep believing, keep praying, keep hoping, and keep pressing through. Before long, you’ll break free and rise to the new levels of victory God has prepared for you.
